Lincoln Co. Wildlife Expo this weekend

The annual Lincoln County Wildlife Expo is this weekend, Sept. 16 and 17, at the Lincoln Civic Center.

The expo is an annual event hosted and sponsored by the Lincoln Civic Center Commission, Board of Supervisors and the Lincoln County Wildlife Expo Committee.

The Lincoln Civic Center is located at 1096 Beltline Drive NW in Brookhaven.

CRYSTAL SPRINGS -- The Southeast’s largest home gardening event is about to mark its 33rd anniversary as gardeners from across the region flock to Copiah County for the Oct. 21 and 22 Fall Flower & Garden Fest.

Mississippi State University, through the Extension Service and the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, is sponsoring the annual event at the Truck Crops Branch Experiment Station in Crystal Springs. Gates will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, and admission and parking are free.

Now through Sept. 23, 2011– Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Community Arts Showcase Series presents an art exhibit by Northwest Mississippi Community College instructor Eunika Rogers in the Mutton Building Gallery, Wesson Campus.
